Everybody Likes a Song With a Positive Message

“Now is always the right time … to put something positive in your mind.” ~ Curtis Mayfield

If you like the flavor of that old school soul vibe, and songs that have a positive message, then you will probably like this song by the Curtis Mayfield (1942–1999). The accompanying vocalist is none other than, the Queen of Soul, the Aretha Franklin (1942–2018) . When I need a push to keep on keeping on, these song lyrics work for me. All of the words take me back and move me forward. But these are my favorite lines in the song:
